    I’ve created a knew API key in Mailchimp and tried to use it in the first settings step to connect with Mailchimp.
    But it doesn’t do anything, I don’t go to step 2 and it doesn’t connect.

    What is the problem?

    I’m sorry to hear that. I’d like to grab some more details and see what could be going on here. Could you please reply back with the following information?

    – What version of MailChimp List Subscribe are you using?
    – Are you seeing any error messages when trying to get to step 2, or what exactly is happening that is indicating that the plugin isn’t connecting?
    – Could you reply back here with a screenshot of what you see there?
    – What version of WordPress is being used?
