    Hi,
    I have upgraded WooCommerce 4.4.1 last week.
    It seems to create a connection failure with mailchimp :
    SS_WC_MailChimp_Handler::maybe_subscribe(): WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed: (ss-wc-mc-api-request-error).
    I have tried to re-enter the API key but nothing happens.
    I have de-installed re- installed mailchimp but the problem is still here.

    Any idea ?

    I really don’t want to downgrade Woocommerce.

    My config is

    WordPress Configuration Version: 5.4.2

    Mailchimp for WooCommerce: 2.4.5
    WooCommerce: 4.4.1

    PHP Version: 7.3.20
    MySQL Version: 5.5.5
    Webserver Info: Apache

    @eticweb hey sorry we’re a little confused on this one. The ss-wc-mc-api-request-error you’re describing is NOT in our plugin. Can you please send a screenshot of the problem you’re experiencing so we can look further?

    I see that you do have our plugin listed here, but the error you’re talking about above is not coming from our plugin.

    Hi,
    I’m afraid it’s not possible to send a screenshot via www.remarpro.com.
    However I still have a connection problem with the API key when I re-install mailchimp for woocommerce.
    I connect with my mailchimp accout, Then the message appears : connecting, connection in progress… and nothing happens. I have a red vertical line in the connection progress bar but it stays blocked. The only solution I have is to press the green connect button to connect again… and block

    @eticweb ok this makes sense now. Here is our wiki that goes over the most common issues like this.

    I’m going to take a guess and say that your server is probably being blocked by Akamai’s api gateway service which is a little bit hard to for most to diagnose without some technical help. Can you please have your web host ( or whoever is managing your server ) take a look at this page specifically to configure your server properly in order to get around this issue?

    We’ll look forward to your response here but this should be straightforward for a server admin to understand.
