    This happens every 5 seconds! Anytime I try to upload an image(s), every time I try to update a post, publish a new post… it’s slowing production to a crawl as each time I get this error message it can take up to 5 minutes sometimes more to connect. As I try to proceed after re-connection, the cycle begins again.

    We just upgraded servers/hosting (which we did in response to this connection error), so that should not be the problem. It seems to have happened after updating WordPress to 4.1. I have tried disabling plugins and several other suggestions I found throughout the forums, but they all seem to have never really been resolved… (although the most recent posts i have seen are about 7 months ago)

    Im posting hoping someone has found a solution since then…? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    what plugins do you have on your site (active and inactive) and what theme are you using?

    have you tried repairing your database?
