Connection Lost in New Post or Editing – Save Option Might Be the Issue

Keep in mind this only happens on the parent site on WPMU. If I create a new post, the connection will become lost. Further, my host (GoDaddy) will reset causing major timeouts on my web pages on the main site only (all child pages seem to run fine until the reset when they can show a 503 page).

I read by changing the define(‘AutoSave_Interval’, ‘900’) that causes less of an interruption.

– I have removed all plugins and cleared the cache.
– I have changed themes
– I have repaired and optimized all tables.
– I run Pingdom. The only time my website goes down is when I am in the parent website trying to create a new post.
– All child websites (and a couple WP installs I have on the side) do not do this.
– If I open another tab going into the backend of the website, I can do other tasks while the Post page continues to be offline.

I am done a lot of research before this post on the topic. I am not 100% sure,but it seems to be with GoDaddy hosting. When I call them up, they say its not their issue and I believe it to be true.

I feel the autosave option is causing a hiccup here. I really don’t want to disable autosave, but I will if necessary.
