• Hey guys. So I installed this plugin last week… keep hitting bumps!

This is the only plugin I have installed in the past month. Ever since I installed it, when I try to save anything (even outside of events, like other posts and regular pages) I keep getting this error message across the top of my page

“Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.”

When this happens (almost every time I edit a page) it will make it so that I cannot update that page, refresh the dashboard, or even load the page (while logged in to wordpress) for anywhere from 1 minute to 20 minutes…

When looking up this error message, people have suggested that it is a plugin conflicting with wordpress settings.

Any help or suggestions? I did in fact disable this plugin and update a few other pages on my site, and while the plugin was disabled I did not receive this error… so i do believe the plugin is to blame… sorry timely!

  • Hello,

In order to diagnose why this is happening can you please do the following :

    1. Confirm that you are using the latest version of the Ai1EC (v2.0.4) – If not, please do a manual upgrade: https://support.time.ly/manually-upgrading-the-calendar/

    2. Check to see if you are experiencing a theme or plugin conflict: https://support.time.ly/do-i-have-a-theme-or-plugin-conflict/

Please let me know how this goes.

    Thanks

1 – Yes, I do have the latest version, and yes I did do a manual instal of it.

2- I disabled all of the plugins except the all in one calendar. I immediately ran into the error message again. When I had all of my other plugins active, but the all in one calendar disabled, i did not run into the error message.

Somewhat related. I upgraded from lite, deactivated plug-ins – the data is still there, however I cannot save settings (no error message) and the calendar does not display (I am unable to save the Calendar page which specifics the Calendar page). However when I use the shortcode on the page, the Calendar shows up fine.
