    Hi,

We’re having issues connecting Facebook to WooCommerce as follows:

    1. Get Started
    2. Press Login to Facebook
    3. Press Get Started
    4. Select your Business Manager – the business we are an admin of isn’t there. So we Create New, in this case D W Whitson Ltd – Business Manager. Press Continue.
    5. Get this message:

The name you’ve chosen for your business isn’t valid. Consider using D W Whitson Ltd – Business Manager. Your business name must accurately reflect your business, as with Page names.

    6. Tries another shorted name and get this message:

You have reached the limit for the number of Businesses you can create at this time.

    7. Go back and select our own Business, then connect a page, scroll down to our clients business D W Whitson Ltd and it says: Not eligable. Hover over the i and it says:

Contact the admin of business for permission to connect this Page
    Learn more

I am an admin of that business. Looking at the page D W Whitson Ltd (for which I’m an admin)

If I go to the page and select ‘Set up using a partner platform’ and choose WooCommerce it then says go to WooCommerce to do this.

Also tried to connect to WooCommerce via Business apps and got this error message:

    Admin permission required
You do not have permission to the Business Manager linked to this page. Reach out to the admin of ‘Dave Whitson’s Business’ to gain access.

    Again, I am admin level!

Then went to Facebook Business Suite > Commerce. There are some products here I think the client has previoulsy added manually.

Can anyone advise? Feels like we’re going round in circles.

    Hi @freshspace

I’d recommend speaking to Facebook.com support directly about this – our integration can only work with the data that is passed to it and for some reason, when you’re trying to connect, the Facebook system is saying you don’t have access to those accounts.

Our integration is, at the core, a connector, it doesn’t change or create accounts, that is something Facebook.com would need to offer support for.

As this thread isn’t directly related to the functionality of our plugin, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,

    Hi Doug,

Thanks for this. I’ll contact Facebook directly and see if they can help at all.

Maybe you only have the Admin access for the Page account?

The WooCommerce integration requires admin access to both Page and Business Suite.
