• Hi,
I am using QuickLatex on my blog website, however since last week the formulas are not rendering (there is an error about connection timeout). I am guessing you might added my website’s ip to your blacklist as I am generating a lot of formulas. Let me know if that is correct?
    Many thanks,
    Dawid

    Hi,
    No, your website wasn’t blocked.

If you are generating many formulas – then it is normal to see “connection timeout”.
Just re-load page few times until all formulas generated.

Thanks for quick reply. I am afraid that this is not the case, so I will try to give more details.
    The error:
Cannot connect to QuickLaTeX server: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds
appears when I try to preview/publish a new post. Interestingly, the error appears only for formulas that have not been not rendered before last week, i.e. they were added to the post after ~10th June (so let’s say $\theta$ was rendered before last week and it works correctly, but if I want to add something new like $\theta=999$ then the error appears). Moreover, if I create completely new post then the error still appears.

    Hi,

could you please reply to my previous post?
The error persist even if you re-load the page several times.

    Sorry for delay in reply.

I have no idea why this is happening on your website.
Looks like your hosting provider has tightened up security settings or similar (e.g. disabled cURL module in PHP, etc.).

Have you done any changes to your PHP settings recently?

    Don’t suppose you’re with Bluehost @dawidkot?

I started having this same problem recently despite it being fine before.

    Hi @thetangentspace,

yes I am with Bluehost. I will send them a question and let’s see their answer.

I attempted to contact them last week and did not get a useful response, only to try things like changing the theme. Please let me know if you hear anything useful.
