Connecting user profile to a “shared” profile

Hi,

Is there a way to create a "shared" profile from which individual user profiles would pull information? Basically, what I would like to do is the following:

• create a Company profile that would have custom fields set up (eg number of employees, products used, company address/contact info, etc)
• create individual user profiles (eg first/last name, job title, individual contact info, etc)

If Person 1 and Person 2 say they work at Company A, then I would like it so that when someone views their profiles, their individual profile details AND their company profile information show up. So, merely choosing Company A (or maybe putting them in a group called Company A?) would automatically put Company A’s attributes in their profile, rather than Person 1 and Person 2 having to each fill out the company information in the individual user profile setup. Ideally, there would also be a way so that if, for example, Company B is changed from Subscriber to Author, everyone within their company would automatically switch to this user level, too.

Is there a plugin or some way of coding this that anyone can recommend?
