• This issue appears to be common, but no solution has been provided as far as I can tell.

I can install my Pixel manually, but it is not showing up in the list of accounts when choosing Facebook connect.

I have a main Business Manager account, and have created a second pixel in this account which I want to use on my site guitarfreedom.io

I know the pixel is working as I’ve installed it before connecting Pixel Caffeine.

I can install the pixel manually, but apparently this will mean I will miss out out the custom audience feature?

Please advise if there is a workaround for this issue, I have found other posts in the forum but nothing recently.

    Hi,

could you please give me more details of what role you have in the business? I want to check why the API doesn’t give the entire list of available pixels, there should be some reason from Facebook side of why you can’t see the pixel you are finding.

    Let me know, thanks.

    Hi Anto,

I’m admin and owner and have full access to every area in the Facebook book business account.

As mentioned, I’ve been able to connect the pixel manually but it won’t show up in Facebook connect.

    I’m having the same issue.

    Hi,

please check the permissions to the Pixel Caffeine Facebook App, in this page of your facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools

Could you please confirm me that you have the permission “Manage your business” granted? here the screen: https://snag.gy/6JhAOK.jpg

    Let me know, thanks.

    Hello,

I used the Pixel Caffeine plugin, and I haven’t had any trouble picking a pixel created in the Business Manager. I wanted to ask why the Business Manager still says “You’re almost done! Finish setting up your Facebook pixel”, even though it’s already tracking (see screenshot below). Am I missing something?

Yep @antoscarface , I see the “manage your business” in FB Business Integrations:

Tried again, still don’t see the pixel ID I’m after… is frustrating because then I have to reconnect the FB pixel manually

@orlandoryo about your request, just make sure that the pixel is sent correctly in the Pixel ID of the box where there is that error you showed me with the screen. YOu can check with the Pixel Helper Extension.

@elnico50 ok thanks for checking. Another thing I need to check: the form that lists the pixel IDs, get the IDs from the Ad account you selected in the first field and the list of the Ad accounts is get from your Facebook account you connected. In this flow, I didn’t mention the business manager, this is a thing that manages Facebook itself, by giving me the list of your Ad accounts through the API. So, I want to ask you: could you please make sure that you select the right Ad account where the Pixel ID is created? Let me know, thanks.

    @antoscarface

Yes I’ve selected the ad account where the pixel is created. Under this ad account, I have two pixels which I use for two pages. So –

Pixel 1 is used for Page 1
Pixel 2 is used for Page 2

I run ads for both pages under the same ad account.

I select the correct ad account in Pixel Caffeine, and I see Pixel 1, but Pixel 2 is not showing.

    Thank you @elnico50.

I’m investigating about this issue, I’ll get back to you next week with a fix.
Sorry for the delay and thank you for the patience.

No worries. Will look forward to more updates.

Hello @antoscarface, the Facebook Pixel Helper says the pixel is good; however, I still see the message “Finish setting up your Facebook pixel”.

Hello @antoscarface I’m facing a similar issue. I’m unable to see the pixels I created with my business account, I can link only the personal pixels I created. Is there any solution to this? Thank you.

I too am having the same problem selecting the FB pixel from my connected Business Account (my personal account/pixel works just fine). I’m the admin across the entire implementation, and can select the account, but the pixel dropdown remains unpopulated. I can enter it manually of course, but would prefer the enhanced functionality.

The difference might be because my business account identifies with my business email address @uncorkedcanvas.com, and my FB account is setup with my personal @gmail.com email?.

I’m having the exact same problem. It won’t pickup any of the ad accounts in my Business Manager.

I’m admin of the FB page.
I’m admin on the ad account.
There are no Business Manager settings preventing the plugin from working.
I disabled other plugins to test.
    I reset the FB connection.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin.
I deleted the FB permissions and re-added them.
    I’m not in debug mode.
    I have no ad blockers.
Personal ad accounts show up fine.
