• Hi all,

I’m hoping I can get some help here. While not strictly a WordPress question, it is definitely a WooCommerce one.

A client of mine recently bought a license for WooCommerce and I built them a site around this

The problem is, they have an office in Connecticut and plan to ship there.

What happens with the Connecticut sales tax? Is this handled within the system or is there something I need to do to activate this?

In case anyone is unclear, it is necessary to pay 6.35% tax when shipping to Connecticut if you have business-owned property in the state

Thanks a heap for anyone that can help

For paid versions, please use WooCommerce’s dedicated support channels – as these forums are only for free versions of plugins/themes.

    Hi WPyogi,

Thought I would ask here before hassling my client for the registration, etc

Didn’t realize this was against the forum rules, I apologize ??

No worries – just FYI – and you may as well take advantage of the paid support :)!

All you need to do is create sales tax rates for Connecticut in WooCommerce. I always use sales tax tables from https://www.woosalestax.com. they are formatted for WooCommerce. You can give it a try.
