I’ve been working on my site all night then all of the sudden none of the plugins would upload or install via wordpress, and now I cannot access my site via chrome or safari…?

It just says ‘sending request…’ at the bottom of the screen then times out eventually.

I am connected via FTP and that is working just fine. Any ideas?! I need to be working on this to get it done…. grrrrrrrrrr

    Thank you

  • It seems to be a problem with your hosting/ server. Who hosts your site?

Good call! I was with 000webhost and will no longer use them as their tech support was less than not helpful. I have had many issues switching hosts but have learned a lot in the process. I also upgraded to 3.6 and it’s all screwed up. The dashboard is on the right side instead of the left so I can’t see any sub menu’s. but that doesn’t even matter because I can’t actually click any of the dashboard buttons and the actual content is all below the dashboard itself. Any suggestions? I’ve been in the forums all day and can’t find my specific issue anywhere. The only buttons I can click are the ones that have updates to be made, like with the 1 inside the circle…. Craziness

Start by temporarily deactivating ALL of your plugins… and, if necessary, switch to the default WP theme.

Now, is your dashboard appearing correctly?

All plugins are now deactivated and I switched to 2013… Dashboard is still doing the same thing. All aligned to the right side and I cant click any buttons other than ones that have circled 1’s for updates I assume.

I also am unable to add any plugins… I couldnt before I went back to default and disabled all plugins either…

And I also noticed when uploading pictures it says upload failed, but then when I go to dropdown menu the pictures are in the ‘uploaded to site’ and sometimes ‘images’ section

Also I just activated the 2012 theme and that didnt change anything either
