Connected on 2 sites, but only one syncs jobs

    I have 2 dev sites and each have connected to Bullhorn. But only one site syncs jobs and allows me to change the logging # of days. The other site doesn’t sync jobs and when I try to change the logging it reverts back to “off”.

    Lastly, the site that isn’t syncing is managed wordpress hosting through GoDaddy, and is using a temporary URL until we point a domain at it.

    Wondering if a) managed WordPress hosting without domain pointing is the problem or b) can only one site sync jobs, even if multiple sites are connected?

    You need to make sure that you have added all the URL redirects in Bullhorn
    Call Bullhorn support and check

    We have a number of sites on GoDaddy so that should be a problem

    Are any of the settings saving?

    You can connect multiple sites so that should be the problem

    Hi GroupDavis,

    Paul was right to point out that you need to make sure that Bullhorn has added both the live and staging URLs to the allowed API Redirects list. If you’ve followed the Bullhorn Connection Assistant routine on both sites (instead of copying a live to staging site) you will be prompted whether your URL is allowed. To check, go to Matador Jobs > Settings > Bullhorn Connection Assistant and “Reset” Assistant.

    That said, there is a well known issue in general with GoDaddy managed WordPress hosting that badly interferes with WordPress Cron. We are currently writing a new Docs site and we have a page of known hosting issues, and GoDaddy is one of them.

    The solution is rather simple: in your wp-config.php file, add

    define( 'WP_ALTERNATE_CRON', true );

    I hate to say it, but due to this, even with Alternate Cron enabled, I would discourage our users (and users of WooCommerce, among other plugins that rely on cron) from using GoDaddy managed WordPress product. Either use a cpanel product of theirs and configure your own environment or use an alternate service.
