Hi, we saw this new option after update and wanted to use it, but when we press the button connect to another account, it gives error.

Maybe is because both account have to be at same twitter developers account? It seems not to be an option for adding new API Key and API Secret.

We would like if possible, to add another of our accounts to share in both account our Tweets, but we have each of our accounts in an independant Twitter Developer User account.

    Thank you in advance.

It’s fine to use one Twitter Developer app and you will still be able to connect multiple accounts and tweet to multiple accounts

    Thanks.

Sure, thanks for answering ?? When we press on: Connect Another Account, we face this error message in red: “Callback URL not approved for this client application. Approved callback URLs can be adjusted in your application settings”

@dharm1025 another problem we are facing after this last update is that we have to selec manually “post to Twitter account” when we create and post a new job at our job sites from Admin backend. So, companies that publish their job offers in our sites don′t have the option to post to our twitter account, as we had before this update, that they just created their job offer and published and it was automátically posted at our twitter account. So all this is harming us a lot, as none of the job offers being published are being sended to twitter. Thank you.

Note, maybe you could have the option to select (to turn on from plugin config), the accounts to be posted automatically and not manually….

We are rolling back to previous plugin version…

    Hi @ibiza69,

Thanks for providing the error message. You have to add your website URL in app callback URLs. You can do it by following the steps given below (you can find the same instruction in the plugin setup instructions as well):

    1. Go to the Twitter developer portal
    2. Click on Projects & Apps on the left navigation menu.
    3. Find the App and click it to show the Settings page for the App.
    4. Click “Edit/Setup” under User authentication settings to set up Authentication.
    5. Set the?Callback URLs?fields to?https://YOURWEBSITEURL/wp-admin/admin-post.php?action=authoshare_authorize_callback?and click?Save.
    6. Done. Please try to connect account after this and it will work.

Note, maybe you could have the option to select (to turn on from plugin config), the accounts to be posted automatically and not manually….

You can enable the “Autoshare by default” checkbox in plugin settings and it will be enabled. you don’t have to manually enable it every time for the post.

    Thanks.

    Hi @dharm1025, thank you.

About 1st topic, didn′t underestand you. We have for example trabajaribiza configured at twitter developers and working well, and we want to share too to trabajarbaleares account, so how could we do this?

About 2nd topic, we have all options at plugin activated, before this last update the job offers autoposted and not they do not (after update), so we don′t know how to proceed, as we have everything active at plugin, as we had before, but now doesn′t work.

    Thank you!

You have to go to the developer app of trabajaribiza account and follow the steps I gave in my last response. Once that is done, come back to plugin settings and click on “connect another Twitter account” It will allow you to log in to trabajarbaleares Twitter account and successfully connect it.

About 2nd topic, we have all options at plugin activated, before this last update the job offers autoposted and not they do not (after update), so we don′t know how to proceed, as we have everything active at plugin, as we had before, but now doesn′t work.

Could you please provide more information on how to publish job offers? is it from WP-admin editor or using API etc? providing more information on this will help us to understand the issue you are facing.

    Thanks.

Hi @dharm1025, I answered you a few days ago, but my comment wasn′t published, don′t know why. Please apollogies.

1st Topic. Thanks totally clear now.

2nd Topi. As you now we had to return back to previous version of the plugin, as with this new update, the twitter account wasn′t selected at default, so we had to select it manually, and I think that is the problem with clients publishing their job offers, as we don′t have twitter autoshare activated by default, they cannot share their job offers being published to twitter either. At plugin options, we have indeed all options activated, including: Jobs, as it offers it too and it works in previous version, but not in this last plugin version update.

This is our config at your:

Selected content types: Post, Pages & Jobs (activated)

Enable by default: Enable Autoshare by default when publishing content (activated)

Image setting:?Always add the featured image to tweets (activated)

This all are working like charm at previous plugin version, but not working in the last update.

Could you please review this if can be so kind?

    Hi @ibiza69,

    Thanks for the response.

Have you tried to enable “Autoshare by default” at the Twitter account level? it will make the Twitter account enabled by default and you don’t have to enable it at the post level each time.

    Thanks

Thanks @dharm1025, as I wrote all this past days, that option is activated at plugin options, at new version (didn’t work) and so we returned to old plugin version (where that option activated, works).

This is why all this thread…
