Connect Negotiators with WordPress users

  • Hello,

    We are using Alto and Property Hive Agent.

    We can’t connect Negotiators with corresponding WordPress users, so that they are showing on each property page.

    We tried this recommendation:
    If you use userfield1 and enter the full negotiator name as it exists in WordPress, you should then be able to use a snippet like so:

    But it is not working on our end (tried with WordPress username and with email and with WordPress UserID).

    We want to use <userfield1> from the XML data from Alto and can you provide us with details of how we can get this to show as a field in the property details within WordPress?

    Hi Maria,

    You say you’ve tried the username, email and user ID, but it’s the WP users ‘Display Name’ that the snippet is looking for.

    Can you confirm you have tried that?

    Please also confirm that you don’t have the ‘Only import updated properties’ setting checking in the import settings when testing this.

    Without seeing how your users are set and looking at the data being received it’s hard to comment further but if you can clarify the above we can go from there.
