• Hello
    I’m using WordPress 5.2
With GTMetrix I’ve analyzed the simplest page on my website, which has only text.

I’ve realized that that page and all my pages do two calls to connect.facebook.net and one call to staticxx.facebook.com
    This slows down my website.

I’ve deactivated ALL the plugins, even the theme. And WordPress still calls to Facebook.
How can I remove those external calls to Facebook?
    Thanks so much!
    Miguel

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @mikesantamar
    I just checked your page {view-source:https://test.trekpyrenees.com/faqs/}
There is no such URL connect.facebook.net, After deactivating all the plugins make sure to purge the browser cache. Hope it helps

    Hi Ali
    I don’t understand your answer.
    The URL is https://test.trekpyrenees.com/faqs/

If you test this URL in GTMetrix, you will see there are three calls to Facebook.
Do you understand what I mean?

    Thanks

    Hi Ali
I’ve disabled again all plugins and cleared the cache.
I’ve been enabling one by one. Now all of them are enabled and the calls to facebook have disapeared. I can’t understand.
Anyway, in my test environment (test.trekpyrenees.com/faqs/ I have cleared the cache and the calls to facebook have not disapeared.
In my test environment I don’t dare to disable all plugins.

    Hi Ali
    I found it.
It is the “Simple Share Buttons Adder” plugin.
    Thanks
    Miguel
