Connect Facebook Commerce Manager Store to Instagram Account

    I want to connect the shop’s instagram account with the shop’s facebook can’t say
    Accounts are already onboarded to another Commerce Manager, even though I only connected one.

    I’m having an issue with connecting the Instagram account with the commerce store that is already connected to the Facebook account. A bit of background: There was an initial store set up that was connected to both the Facebook account and to Instagram. The problem was that there were 2 catalogs created in the account one manual catalog that was set up and attached to the store and one catalog that was connected to WooCommerce. You could see both catalogs but the wrong one was attached to the store since we wanted the WooCommerce connected catalog attached to the store.
    I was advised by Facebook chat to deactivate the store and then to re-connect to WooCommerce so that I could then attach the correct catalog to the store. I followed these instructions and was able to follow the steps however when the store was launched I wasn’t able to attach the catalog that was connected to WooCommerce (it was greyed out) so I ended up deactivating the FB connection to WooCommerce (on the WooCommerce backend) and re-installed it and when I did so I created a new catalog and I was able to connect this catalog to the store. However, it only connected to the Facebook store and it will not allow me to connect Instagram as it says:

    Instagram account already belongs to a Commerce Manager account
    An Instagram account can only be associated with one Commerce Manager account at a time.

    Can anyone please advise? I have a case in with Facebook but I am not counting on a resolution as I feel they will see it is an issue with WooCommerce. I also am worried about disconnecting IG accounts and then reattaching that this won’t mess things up further. The FB store is up and running fine. I just want to get IG running too.

    Hello,

    Are you using a plugin to connect to Facebook and Instagram? Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hello, I have heard back from Facebook customer support and it seems that the Instagram account is connected to an old catalog/commerce account. This is the commerce account that was deactivated so that I could switch the catalog that was connected to WooCommerce to a commerce account. I had to disconnect and reconnect the plugin to create a new catalog which was then connected to the new commerce account. Facebook is connected as a sales channel but I can’t Instagram to connect as a sales channel as I get the error message that says
    Instagram account already belongs to a Commerce Manager account.
    An Instagram account can only be associated with one Commerce Manager account at a time.
    The new Commerce account is 4630425210350181. The initial/old account is 210163917501386.
    Facebook:
    Upon further checking, they found that Commerce Account 210163917501386 is setup and managed by WooCommerce. Hence, they advise for you to reach out to WooCommerce support to deactivate it from their end.
    Can you delete the old account 210163917501386?
    Please advise. Thank you!

    Since this forum is specific for the WooCommerce core plugin, for issues related to another plugin (Facebook for WooCommerce) you might want to get more inputs in the dedicated support forum where support folks know that particular plugin better than we do and may have had similar cases.
