    Why i have to connect API only automatically by login to Stripe? Its stupid because it require two-authentication acces via phone. Im developer and really dont have customers phones.

    “We make it easy to connect Stripe to your site. Click the Connect button to go through our connect flow.” – actually make it much harder. Let me just paste the secret key.

    Why i have to connect API only automatically by login to Stripe?

    You only have to use the connect process for live mode. You can manually enter the API keys when using test mode.

    Its stupid because it require two-authentication acces via phone. Im developer and really dont have customers phones.

    That decision is not up to us. Stripe requires that the account owner be the one that connects the plugin to live mode using the Connect process. It is a security feature that Stripe requires us to adhere to. If you find that stupid, I encourage you to share your feedback with Stripe and explain to them that as a developer you find that process less than ideal.

    I just tried offical Woocommerce plugin for Stripe and there is possible add keys manually also for live mode

    Yes, that’s because they are a different company than us and they have different requirements set for their relationship with Stripe.

    You can’t compare what one solution does with what the other does because there are different legal and contractual obligations in place based on the relationship with Stripe.
