I have been using the child theme https://github.com/understrap/understrap-child as the basis for custom themes for a while now. It has not been updated recently, and I am noticing you are now showing BASE 0.5.4 on the main understrap web site. Is BASE the latest version of the child theme; if so I would be happy to pay for it again. Also, when I look at Overstrap, it talks about Builder, but lists it as Coming Soon. I am potentially interested in the Gutenberg integration that Builder seems to provide, but it is not clear if I would get that if I buy Overstrap now, rather than waiting.

I tried to ask these question on the understrap web site, but your contact form cut me off.

    Thanks.

    Hey Barry

BASE should be the same version as the child theme available on Github

BUILDER is due later this month and does use Gutenberg for structure and content with UnderStrap as its base. It will replace OverStrap, though anybody who has purchased OS can get a copy of BUILDER PRO for free – the OverStrap themes will be available as importable templates for BUILDER PRO

It would be worth waiting for BUILDER as its a much better product than OverStrap IMO

Just looking at this again. I Googled Understrap Bulder Pro and found this page: https://builder.understrap.com/d/pro/ which seems to have a very different pricing model than you suggest above. And the Understrap site still talks about Overstrap, but seems to still have Builder as coming soon, and does not mention Builder Pro.

So I guess this is still evolving as you prepare to release things? I look forward to some clarity, and being able to upgrade custom themes I have built for clients using Understrap to use a page builder with Gutenberg support.

    Hey Barry,

yes the pricing model is going to be by number of active sites to cater for single site owners all the way through to agencies. Thats for the PRO features as the basic functionality is free though

things are changing all the time as is the world out there with everything that is going on right now

if you catch me on live chat or message me through the contact form we can discuss further ??
