In the GA Statistics, under the Social Networks tab.

The stats show the number of visits that come from socials networks (e.g Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc) and also from “other” sources. The “other” is a combination of both visits from “referrals” and “direct visit”.

This shouldn’t be the case, referrals and direct visits are not social networks.
The social networks tab should only contain visits from social networks.

Secondly, in the dropdown to choose a timeframe for the statistics, why are there no preset timeframes like “Last 7 Days”, “Last 30 Days”, and “Last 90 Days”. Having to select these basic timeframes by using “Custom Range” is tedious.

    Hi again @aronu

The “Other” stats that we spoke about hasn’t been removed. It is still there.

Hmm, that’s odd. I just checked the code for the 3.3.8 update and I do see the change made that should filter out that “Other” category in Social.

Are you still seeing it for recent stats, or just for the data generated before the 3.3.8 update?

    Cheers!
