I mean why do I get a total of 4 when updating a single page and what is the difference between the total and cached please?

you did not try to use the feature as much as I see. If the process is running, the status appears “Running”.

Total: the cache of the content, the cache of the content’s categories and the cache of the content’s tags
Cached: The number of cached content

What are you confused about?

I don’t understand which features need to add a line of code in wp-config for instance.

And don’t well understand why those new settings have to be enabled at single pages and posts instead of having a checkbox in global settings.

What happened to the automatic cache window in page editor?

I had the related box in my pages editor and not anymore since I updated to the last version.

did you enable the feature on the “Screen Option” panel?
