Confused Newbie – Setting a static page as home

    Help, I’m new to this and it’s all a bit of a struggle. I am trying to make my home page, well, a page. When I go to Options, Reading and select static page then “Home” doesn’t appear in the drop down list, even though I can see it on my navigation bar. Where am I going wrong?

  • Home is just the term for the set “front” or index page.

    You need to create a page, call it home if you like, but it can titled anything, and then set that page through your options.

    Thanks, I have created a page called home but I can’t see it in the options. I can’t see it when I click on manage post or manage page either, I’m not quite sure where it is!
