    Hi, can you help. I received a spam email that seems to have taken advantage of the fact I have your plugin installed and active, but I have not implemented your plugin, so somehow by default someone has created a dummy email account from my domain for an account that doesn’t exist and sent it to me, I can see in email details that it has used WP Html Mail template which I’m not aware of us actively using. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello @mballew,

    I don’t think I quite understand what your issue is. I have the impression you have a security issue and that your problem is not directly related to our plugin.

    You should make sure to secure your site, I highly recommend you change all your passwords and use a password manager. Make the passwords as complicated as you can.

    Unless you can provide us with error messages or a concrete problem we can investaigate, there is nothing I can do to help you, besides recommending wordpress hardening, securing your website and what I wrote above.

    First let me ask, if your plugin is enabled and admin not having gone through the configuration process to use it, can test email output be sent? I will check for hardening based on your response, thank you.
