Confused about the new system

    Hello!

    I am confused after updating. Before I had many credits for optimizing images and such. After updating and registering a domain key and account, I have 0 credits and have to buy them?

    I thought my own server did the job of compressing images to WebP and such? How does this really work? Can I get more than 1 image per request without paying extra? I’m already paying for my host with a LiteSpeed server.

    Hi,

    No , you don’t have to buy them , it’s optional , credit will give you fast queue , if not ,even with credit/quote as “0”, you can still optimize images with standard queue.

    No , image optimization was done by our cloud servers

    workflow as follow :

    plugin prepares X images to optimize —> it sends lists of URL to the images —> cloud server receives the list —> cloud server fetches images from your site and optimize them —> once they are optimized , cloud server will notify plugin to pull them back —> once plugin has been notified , it will pull back the optimized images
