Yesterday I installed and enabled wp-fastest-cache plugin and right thereafter I deleted it as it had locked my site up from anyone to view.

Logged back in and delete this plugin.

This morning I did a backup with UpDraftPlus and everything went just fine.

I then downloaded those backups in my backup folder.

The problem is that the plugins download is showing two files:

and the uploads is also showing two files:

    This is my log:

Prior to the cache plugin, your plugin was working great!

Any ideas to what may have happen?

    Hi,

That’s nothing related to UpdraftPlus, WordPress or wp-fastest-cache – that’s just your web browser’s regular/intended download behaviour. See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/972604

    Best wishes,
    David

Sorry as my post above sure messed up for trying to link everything.

I’m sure the log file will be enough.

I just rechecked FF and it is the one giving me the .part files when downloading.

When I use IE11 and Chrome it takes anywhere from 12 minutes to upward of 25 minutes and I finally abort the download.

It leads me to believe it was the cache plugin that is causing this problem as I always use FF and within a few moments I can download everything with no problems.

Will continue to search on my end to what may be causing this.
