I wanted to use this plugin to improve the photo gallery on my website. However, it causes a conflict with one of the social media plugins (Social Icons Widget by WPZoom) that I already had on my website, so that I simply am unable to open links from social media icons in mobile view. It was indeed because of this plugin, because as soon as I deactivated this plugin, I was immediately able to open the links again. I activated the plugin again, and presto, the links suddenly immediately stopped working. Deactivating the plugin yet again resulted in…the links working again. If it didn’t cause this conflict, I would have been happy to use this plugin.

    Hello

We would be happy to investigate the problem to find the reason of the problem and if possible provide a solution. Is it possible to see the problem anywhere?

As I have already deactivated and deleted the plugin, it regrettably would not be convenient to reinstall the plugin solely to reproduce this issue. However, here is the excerpt from the support rep for the other plugin that I was having issues with:

    “WPZOOM wrote:

This problem is caused either by your theme, which forces all link to open in a popup/lightbox (Spacious), or probably by this plugin:

The only solution to the problem was removing this plugin.

Our plugin doesn’t attach the lightbox to all links. It attaches the lightbox only to links which match plugin’s settings. If the plugin is configured to open external/internal links into the lightbox then these kind of links will be opened into the lightbox.

If need to exclude some links from the configured rules then add “no-lightbox” CSS class to these links or use the solution from this post.

As we wrote previously, we can help to investigate the problem and find a solution for your case if you provide a link to a page where the problem occurs.
