Conflicts with Interface theme

I’ve just noticed that the Cyclone slider 2 (I’m using current version 2.8.3) is conflicting with my sliding banner on the Interface theme.
I have the latest version of the theme (1.2) which features a sliding banner in the home page.
I am using Cyclone Slider 2 in a number of internal pages.
While all was working well when I hosted the site about a month ago, lately I noticed that the featured slider (of the Interface theme) is not rotating but is stuck on the first banner.
It works correctly again when I disable the Cyclone Slider 2.
I have used Cyclone Slider on 35 internal pages with custom css and coding, spending hours to build everything as I wished. If possible I’d like to find a solution to this rather than having to use a different slider plugin and start everything from scratch.
I would appreciate any help in this matter.
