Conflicts with Categories Images plugin

When Categories Images plugins is installed, Featured Images for Categories doesn’t work;
- Click on ‘Set featured image’
- chose/uploadn image and click on ‘Set featured image’
- nothing happens; the popup closes and the image is not added
