I use the plugin “Raw HTML”, where I insert <raw> tags into the html. Your app takes them out.

I put in custom spacing lines in my HTML text. Your app adds lines in places, and takes out lines in places. I like your app for the syntax color coding, but I cannot, and will not, use it if you alter my content.

The thing about the “Raw HTML” is that I use it to keep WordPress for messing with my code. Your app is doing the same nanny thing.

The changes happens when I toggle between text and visual. If I Publish before the toggle, toggle to Visual, then reload I’m back to where I was. Still, I don’t want to continually be publishing while I’m working on stuff.

Maybe you can add preference settings to let people disable these kind of things.

My plugin isn’t formatting your code. WordPress does that when you switch to the Visual Editor…

Try testing this with this highligher plugin disabled. You will get the same result.

The Raw HTML plugin doesn’t stop the Visual Editor from reformatting your code. Nothing does, to my knowledge. Its the Visual Editor thats “nannying” you, not my app. If you want to have full control over your code, don’t use the Visual Editor. Go to your user preferences and check the “Disable the visual editor when writing” box at the top of the page.

    Thanks!
