    This is a screen snip of the “frozen” widget.

    Again, everything works fine when I disable the Simple Calendar Plugin.

    It’s not specific to any one module in Jetpack.

    Enable Simple Calendar= displays 404 page upon clicking “Activate” or “Deactivate” on any module.

    Disable Simple Calendar plugin = Activate” or “Deactivate” works as it should.

    Wait so if you activate Simple Calendar it doesn’t just go to a white screen after activation?

    It is actually only the widget just being stuck that is the problem?

    I’m sorry i have been absent from this conversation, but my Mother has been in the Hospital and i have had to attend to that for a while.

    I am still having all the issues that I described above in my posts.

    When trying to add the widget, After i drag it to where I want it, and set it to the calendar I want, hitting the “save” button results in the spinning laing icon to continue to spin, and will not save the widget to the location i want it.

    Sorry to hear about your mother. Hope everything is ok or gets better for you and your family.

    On the widget page do you have any JavaScript errors showing in your console? (F12 on Google Chrome)

    It seems like there might be something interfering with the Ajax saving or something.

    I wanted to chime in that I’ve had this issue as well. With Simple Calendars disabled, everything works fine, but with it enabled there is a javascript conflict that occurs, breaking Gravity Forms and a few other things.

    When I’ve encountered stuff like this in the past, it is usually because of a jquery or javascript conflict of some sort. I tried to get a console error, but the page freezes on load and doesn’t continue running anything after the initial header. To keep the site I’m working on functioning, we’ve turned off simple calendar, as it is breaking multiple forms. This occurs in the .11 version I just updated to.

    @johnarcadian,

    Any way you can do the reverse so you can tell me what plugin is causing the conflict?

    Gravity Forms breaks when Simple Calendar is enabled. Something that Simple Calendar is loading breaks it right after it gets the menu loaded.

    Ok so if Gravity Forms is disabled then you have no problems with Simple Calendar running?

    Thank you Nick, appreciate the kind words.

    There was no error in console. I’m at a loss, and I just had to take the site down.

    @jedijenn,

    Oh ok sorry to hear that. I am going to mark this resolved now then.

    For anyone else on this thread, if you are still having issues (assuming not since there are no other replies) then please open a fresh thread for us to track everything in.

    Thanks!
