    Hey Admins,

I just cloned my site for testing and it seems the plugin is conflicting with Yoast, as when i try to change any options in yoast, press the save changes button, it says Opps something went wrong, once i disable caching, and try again with saving the options, its works.

Let me know if anything is required to reproduce or debug this.

    Thanks.

P.S: Just to mention i am on latest version of both the plugin the Super Cache and Yoast SEO.

    Hi Saumya,

Thanks for the efforts you did to resolve the issue, i just wanted to report, as yoast settings are something which i don’t change much frequently. I just disable the Super Cache plugin, do the changes, and re-enable the plugin.

Is there any way to do completely uninstall of the current plugin including the database entries everything and do a fresh installation. (other than the traditional way of deleting the plugin and making sure to enable the Keep settings on deactivation option) ?

    Thanks.

Also one more thing to add is, as i have disabled the buster query string, will the urls with cache buster quert string in the url will get redirected to normals urls just asking for the SEO part.

Absolutely. If you deactivate and delete the plugin from WP Admin > Plugin section, at the time of uninstallation the plugin will automatically delete everything that it added. After that you can try installing it as fresh.

Firstly any public facing URLs are not supposed to have the cache buster query string in it as it is only added for the logged-in users. That being said, if the cache buster query sting has been mistakenly added to any public facing URL, then generally you don’t have to redirect it as that query string will have no effect on the page. But if you would like to redirect, then you can enable that option inside the plugin settings > Others tab > Enable the SEO redirect option.

    Hey Saumya,

Thank you for your response, the cache buster query string is also been added to the urls when i save the posts as draft or as update or publish, i also tried with the fresh installation but nothing changed ? Is there anything i can share or provide for you to diagnose ?

    Thanks.

    Hi @omusman,
Can you please setup a fresh WP install in a subdomain or something with a default WP theme + this plugin and set things up. Then play around with the testing site and see if you can replicate these things as I am unable to replicate these issues on my end.
