• After receiving 404 errors when trying to view any lessons under the How to Use LearnPress Course, I changed my Permalinks to default. That allowed me to view/complete the lessons, but the following two issues were created.
    1) Received message on dashboard stating “LearnPress Profile is almost ready. You must update your permalink structure to something other than the default for it to work.” and
    2) I was able to click and get to a quiz, but received a 500 error after I pressed “Start Quiz”.

I am unable to view published quizzes and cannot execute any that came with the plugin. I changed my permalinks to “post” and became unable to view the lessons again. This endless loop of errors has become very frustrating! Please help. I can’t show the site b/c it is part of a company intranet.

  • Sorry for late reply,
First, which version of LearnPress are you using? Are you running LearnPress online or just local in your computer?

The permalink is “post name” is the right option. You can check if your htaccess allow you to do so? If you are running your site online so I can check for you.

LP Version 0.9.1.9. I’m running Learn Press online on a protected sub-site of https://www.impactmakers.info/. I switched permalinks back to post name, per your response. I am able to view the course, but the links from there to individual lessons are all broken and giving 404 errors.

    Has this issue been fixed?
I have seen at least 5 threads with this question here and on the Thimpress site but not once has a solution been given please help us fix this issue.

    Same issue here.

In case it helps: I got it. In my case it was that the Directory -where WP is hosted- at httpd.conf had AllowOverride “None” instead of All.
As soon as I changed it, it started to work (courses and lessons at least).
    My permalink configuration is:
WP –> postname (mandatory due to LearnPress)
    LearnPress –> Course

    Good luck!
