There is a conflict between Yoast SEO 15.8 and Divi 4.9.0.
When the Yoast plugin is active the product page can’t be saved from theme builder.
This is the image showing the error: https://pasteboard.co/JOmmBSY.jpg

@angeloarlotta We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.6.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

If after ensuring that both WordPress, Yoast SEO, and your other plugins and themes are up to date the issue is still occurring, we’d next recommend performing a conflicting check to see whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast SEO Plugin. This will help us narrow down the exact cause and determine what the next steps are while saving you time.

The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

Yes I confirm I’m running WordPress 5.6.1, I forgot to write that all is updated to the latest version in my website.

I made another test right now, deactivating all the plugins and keeping active only Yoast SEO, and the problem persists.

I will not install Twenty Twenty because the origin of the problem I’m referring to is with Divi.

    Thanks

    Hi @angeloarlotta

We are not able to reproduce this issue. We are using WordPress v5.6.1 with Yoast SEO v15.8 with WooCommerce v5.0 on Divi v4.9.

We went to a product page and went to edit it from the front-end. We were able to add modules to it. See image: https://ibb.co/HGRhq5w

We then selected save in the bottom right and the page saved as expected. See image: https://ibb.co/Qr4V5Vx.

We can see in the screenshot provided to us here: https://pasteboard.co/JOmmBSY.jpg that Divi makes mention of the need to try a couple different things such as increasing memory, checking your firewall error log, disabling browser extensions etc.

We understand when Yoast is the only plugin active and you have Divi the issue is happening. We would like some more information.

    1. Can you confirm your server has all the right requirements? ?If you are not sure, speak to your host provider.?They may need to increase the PHP memory by doubling or tripling it.?This guide explains more:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/plugin-requirements/.

    2. If you check your firewall error log (like ModSecurity) are they showing false positives which are triggering this result? If you are not how to see the error log or how to examine it your host provider can help.

    3. Does the issue still happen if you use a different browser and/or disable any browser extensions?

    Hi,
I confirm my server has all the right requirements, here you can see a screenshot reporting the Divi log and it’s all ok https://pasteboard.co/JOBk3xv.jpg

I checked with Divi support and they say it’s a plugin problem because it happens only when Yoast SEO is enabled.

I checked with Firefox and other browsers and the problem persist.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

    Hi @angeloarlotta

Did you solve this issue? I’m facing the same ??

    Thanks

Hi, @liamcook21 yes the issue was fixed with the last Divi 4.9.1 update, here the changelog:

    version 4.9.1 ( updated 03-03-2021 )
Fixed issue where you couldn’t save a theme builder template when Yoast SEO plugin is activated.

Try to update the Divi theme and the latest Yoast release and check, it should work.
