When I have Gutenberg activated and Yoast SEO activated, I am seeing the Yoast SEO bar across the middle of the post in the back end and it prevents writing behind the Yoast bar.

I put a screenshot on cloudup to show what I mean about the Yoast information bar covering the screen.

I have just run a test using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin with the standard 2017 theme and I found that the conflict is with the Disable Comments plugin.

I appreciate that it could be asked, which plugin is to apply the fix when two plugins conflict.

I wonder though – are you able to apply a fix?

    Thank you.

The image isn’t coming through from Cloudup, but if you click it, it will take you there and you can see it.

I’m not able to reproduce this on the latest version of WordPress and Gutenberg… so I’m not able to fix it unfortunately.

Disable Comments doesn’t do anything clever on the edit page – it doesn’t insert any scripts or styles that could interfere with another plugin. All it does is mark the post type as not supporting comments. If you do have issues it is most likely with a plugin or theme not handling this situation (post type not supporting comments) very well.

    Thanks for looking.

I have the same issue as of Jan 1, 2019. Will post a new thread.

I have the same issue on https://www.choicegetaways.co.za … plugin bars across the pages I am working on in Chrome
