I just installed your plugin and I got a warning that there may be a conflict with Yoast SEO. I clicked to see Yoast and the warning went away.

Is Add Meta Tags plugin compatible with Yoast and not take anything away from Yoast?

I want to make sure I’m improving my site’s SEO, not taking away from it. Thanks

  • That discussion is really sad. All you managed is to make them even more aggresive about your work…most people will now hit their button and your plugin will be deactivated. This is clearly sabotaging your work, so I guess it is still your problem.

They want their users to uninstall my plugin? I couldn’t care less!

They may display as many warnings and uninstall buttons they feel up to.

What I find unacceptable is the fact that they are actually spreading FUD about my work!

@fesarlis: I’ll wait for their improved warnings mechanism and see how this goes.

Added a sticky topic containing a Compatibility Notice.

Time permitting I’ll be updating the FAQ in the following days.

Every incident of spreading FUD against Add-Meta-Tags will be investigated and action will be taken.
