Conflict with Yoast SEO

Can you please provide more information?

1. Are you using the FREE version or the PRO version of Five-Star Ratings Shortcode?
2. When you say that Yoast SEO stopped working, exactly what happens? Does it affect all of the plugin output? Front end or backend? Any error messages?

Note that I have installed this plugin on a test site and it does not conflict with Yoast SEO.

Dear Team,
When I activate this plugin and go to the product page to edit the product details, at that time the Yoast SEO not working and it happens on all page. I am using Free plugin of this. And if I deactivate the plugin, Yoast SEO back to normal.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps here. As already noted, I have tested the plugin with Yoast SEO and was unable to reproduce the error, suggesting that the conflict lies elsewhere.

Since I do not know your site, I don’t know what you mean specifically by “product page.” I also don’t know what you mean by “not working.” Please provide specific examples. What do you expect to happen, and what actually happens (or doesn’t happen)? Are you visiting a product page in the backend, or the frontend? Are you using any Yoast extensions?

If you are willing to provide the site’s address I can look at it, but without access to the backend my ability to diagnose will be limited.

EDIT: I looked at your profile and visited your site. It looks like you have many other problems besides this. None of your site links work. You appear to be using the Astra theme so I installed Astra on my test site. The plugin worked fine with no conflict.

Dear Team,

I think you have not tested it with any page or post page. After installing the FIVE STAR RATING SHORTCODE, Go to any page or post page and scroll down in the Yoast SEO section and find that you can’t write the SEO keyphrase and don’t see the Readability option.

I am testing this plugin in a fresh site where nothing is installed except Yoast and this plugin.

I think to take it a very serious note. Otherwise, it’s a good plugin. If you solve this problem it will be a great plugin.

OK, I see what you’re talking about. And it is a big problem. Unfortunately at the moment, I’m not able to determine the source of the error. The console isn’t showing any JavaScript errors and there are also no PHP errors. As far as I can tell, Yoast is loading all of its necessary files as well.

I’ll keep working on it & let you know when I’ve got a fix. In the meantime, if you disable the plugin you can still edit the SEO settings, then re-activate my plugin when you’re done — your setting will be preserved.

The free version does not generate rich snippets. The PRO version has support for 3 categories of review rich snippets: products, recipes, and restaurants.
