    Hi,

I can’t get the plugin to work alongside yoast? Every time I activate yoast, the multi step checkout buttons etc. disappear?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello,

on our test website the plugin works alright also when Yoast is activated.

The buttons might disappear if there is a JavaScript error on the checkout page. Do you have a link so I can have a look? If not, could you make me a screenshot of the checkout page with the browser Console open, as in this screenshot?

    Hi,

Thank you very much for the reply.

The following is the output from the console:

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
SVG’s SMIL animations (<animate>, <set>, etc.) are deprecated and will be removed. Please use CSS animations or Web animations instead.

I deactivated all plugins apart from the essential ones, woocommerce, multi step, yoast. It works with just those.

However, I also use siteorgin tools like page builder and siteorigin widgets to build sites. When these are activated along with the above, multistep buttons disappear.

If you need any more info please let me know.

So there doesn’t seem to be any JavaScript error.

On our test website the buttons look alright when the Yoast, Page Builder by SiteOrigin and Widgets for SiteOrigin plugins are installed alongside.

Maybe there is a specific setting within the Yoast or Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugins that leads to the issue. When you find out exactly what is causing the buttons issue please let me know.

Our issue was somewhat resolved. We managed a workaround whereby the woocommerce checkout shortcode is placed in the page itself and not a builder widget.

This enables the checkout and multistep buttons again with all plugins activated. There is still clearly some form of conflict between plugins here though that needs to be resolved.

I would happily solve this, but I don’t know actually what the issue is or how to reproduce this. The only description I got is that there is an issue with the Yoast or the PageBuilder by SiteOrigin plugins, but I didn’t manage to replicate it on our side.

    Pre-Requisites:
    Basic Theme installed
    Woocommerce installed
    Multi-Step installed
    Page Builder installed
    Widgets installed
    Yoast installed
Checkout shortcode added to a site origin editor widget in checkout page.

    Steps:
    1. Add something to cart
    2. Click Proceed to Checkout

    Results:
The proceed buttons and multi-step tabs are not visible on the page (Billing Details in this case)

As mentioned its not priority at this stage. We managed to work around it by taking out shortcode from widget and placing it on the checkout page itself. We’re not sure where the conflict lies ourselves but with those plugins installed + shortcode added to an editor widget, the checkout and mult-step buttons disappear.
