I have several sites that use Swift Performance AND WPForms Lite. One of my customers complained that people were not able to use the contact form to send him email, so I tested his site. I was able to send email through his contact form via my PC, but not via my mobile phone. I tried the same tests on other sites I use the same plugins on. All gave the same result.

After searching for similar issues, I decided to deactivate all plugins except WPForms and try again. The emails were successful. I reactivated plugins one-by-one, testing between and all test emails went through. Swift Performance was the last plugin I reactivated because it was the most recent new plugin I installed on any of my sites.

On a different site that also had both plugins, I deactivated only the Swift Performance plugin and tested. The email went through. Then I reactivated the Swift plugin and email continued to work normally.

Could it be the order in which plugins are activated?

    Hi,

To be honest, never heard of a similar issue with WPForms (Lite) before.
WPForms is quit a popular and very good plugin and we have lots of sites that run with WPForms without any issue.

The order in which plugins are activated shouldn′t be related, as WordPress first checks for any must-use plugins and load those first.

Then, if you’re running a multisite installation, WordPress checks for plugins that are network-activated and load them.

After this is done, WP checks for all other active plugins by checking active_plugins entry of the wp_options database table, and loops through those. The plugins will be listed alphabetically.
