Conflict with wpDiscuz

  • There is a conflict between wpDiscuz and the theme unfortunately.

    If I activate it, it works to display the comments properly in the new format using wpDiscuz. But no click works on any of the comments. Can’t rate, can’t up or down any comment, can’t reply, and even the comments get disabled.

    This happens even when all plugins are deactivated. It works fine on the default theme.

    Anyone can help or have similar issues?

    Hi there,

    Did you contact WPDiscuz about that?

    I do not know the plugin so I can’t really tell you why it does not work. It replaces the comment functionality of WordPress Core completely, so these features like comment rating and voting are part of the plugin, not the theme.

    Thank you so much for getting back to me. Unfortunately, I had multiple issues with the theme. It is a great theme but unfortunately the issues I couldn’t get fix nor could get your support for a month made me change the theme totally.

    I can’t have a theme that can’t work with the 2 most popular and reliable plugins out there.
