Conflict with WP UberMenu
-
Hi plugin-author,
I found that your helpfull plugin has a conflict with WP Uber Menu.
The problem isn’t very bad, but enough for me to not use it at the moment.
WP UberMenu has a very nice slide function, but when I enable your plugin the slide functions fails and the transition is instant instead of slowed down (thus creating a sliding effect).
Also, the ‘To Top’ button stays in the right bottom corner, regardless of whether I’m on the top of the page or not. I happen to know (from other designs I made) that your button dissapears when you arrive back on top of the page. When I turn it the other way around, turning WP UberMenu off, your plugin seems to work just fine.
WP UberMenu is (in my case) upgraded with the ‘nagging menu’ jQuery script. WP UberMenu itself uses jQuery, but this upgrade does to. I can imagine that (if your plugin uses jQuery) this creates conflicts.
If you want to, I can provide you with a link where you can see the effects for yourself. However, I’d prefer not to publicly post that link.
I like your plugin, it works great and gives a nice touch to the website. But I’ll refrain from using it for the moment until it works properly again.
Cheers, Vinnie.
