conflict with WP.5 & Avada theme

  • Big concern WP edit not being updated to reflect new wordpress 5 and onwards. This WP edit plugin now causing me issues on my Avada theme missing its own short code icon. Since updating to new WP 5 and onwards to 5.1 etc with Avada theme latest I now have this missing short code icon that was always there with WP edit…
    Hence seems WP edit not working with wordpress 5 new major release etc as others have said too here and Avada theme any longer the way it behaves with it now.

    ***Steps taken **** Tried deactivating WP edit still no icon even deleted it on another Avada site where I only have the WP edit plugin. No idea how to get my Avada theme icon short code back either!
    Anyone know?     Josh seems to no longer even reply to people.
