Having updated to the latest version of Yoast, I am now seeing a conflict between this and the WordFence plugin.

With Wordfence activated, I cannot access the SEO meta box on posts/pages, in fact it just shows icons, no actual tabs/content.

De-activating WordFence fixes this straight away. I have spoken to the guys at WordFence, and they are saying it is a Yoast issue.

I am running 3.0.1 by the way (had the same issue with 3.0).

  • I’ve just installed WordFence on my testing environment and have been unable to reproduce the issue you described.

Can you please check your console for errors and report them here?

There are no errors in the console.

Strange, has there been an automatic update to Yoast overnight/in the last hour?

It seems to be working as normal now?

Well mine is still doing the same, and I run Wordfence and Yoast on all my websites (30).

Are you releasing a fix for this?

@roothost, there hasn’t be any update. We’re still at 3.0.1.
Looks like it might have been browser caching as well, as that seems to be the cause of most of the issues currently experienced.
