    Hi
The custom side bar won’t load on the main shop archive home page of the woocommerce store – my site is
    https://www.accarparts.co.uk/online/

I want to have the right nav just showing woocommerce navigation but it won’t let me! As soon a I make this the woocommerce home page it reverts back to the regular sidebar…

The woocommerce shop home page is a page type and I have selected the sidebar I want in the page settings – which work if I just do it as a blank page – but as soon as I make it the woocommerce archive page the sidebar goes back to the regular sidebar

  • Hey there detoner,

If this is the option you’re referring to https://screencast.com/t/6aJSk13Qjtla and you placed that page as your home page you can try doing the following:

    – go to Appearance -> Widgets
    – click on the sidebar location on the sidebar you’re going to use (considering that you already set allow this sidebar to be replaced)
    – click on For Archives tab
    – select front page https://screencast.com/t/fcNzPFcB.

This should allow you to display specific sidebar on your WC archive home page https://screencast.com/t/fJFHigvL.

    Hope this helps ??

    Best regards,
    Bojan

Many thanks this works ! missed the archive tabs first time round!

Hi. Have same issue – my WooCommerce shop page refuses to pick up my choice of custom sidebar. It just sticks with the default. Your solution here didnt work because my shop page is not also my home page. Do you hav any other advice? Thanks!

    Hey there port80services,

    How are you doing today?

Do you have this page as physical page in Pages section in your admin? If that is the case you can select which sidebar is going to be displayed on that page when editing page, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/yY9e7BV4yId

If this is not the case please open your own thread so we continue this conversation without spamming thread opener.

    Cheers,
    Bojan
