• Hi, a recent update to Woocommerce appears to be conflicting with WP Bannerize. They both use the MaxMind GeoIP database and now Woocommerce is not identifying when visitors to the site are coming from the specific states we have the shipping zone set to.

We only have free shipping or flat rate shipping set but it still asks all visitors to enter their delivery address before they can see the set shipping costs. In the past, that message only came up if visitors were from a state we don’t deliver to, (which wasn’t a problem because they would see the Banner before it got that far anyway).

@mrretail hi, are you sure it’s a conflict? I mean, did you tried to switch-off bannerize?or do you have some more details?

    Hi @gfazioli
We have since changed settings in the Woocommerce shipping zone, to not specify states that we sell to, and the shipping costs are working again; so more likely a Woocommerce issue, than Bannerize. Still need a way of stopping certain states from buying from us though, which is what we hoped Bannerize would help with.

We need every page to display a Banner to any visitors from states we don’t sell to. I tried running just the shortcode inside a Header Snippit, but keep seeing the code flash on the screen when the page first loads and we aren’t getting any statistics coming through, so don’t think it is working. Then I tried the full code and saw the whole code flash on screen during page load, so took it down.

    Am I doing something wrong?
