Hi @stefanstefanov, I did reach out directly to SiteGround support regarding this and was told to make a thread here about it to get additional support. To reproduce the issue, you should only have to install the WCBoost Wishlist plugin, WooCommerce and Speed Optimizer with Dynamic Cache and File Based Caching turned on. Then try testing the cache on the homepage and see if it says the URL is cached or not. If Memcached is enabled as well, the wishlist doesn’t work at all.

Thank you for your update, @tubescreamer.

I installed the WCBoost Wishlist plugin on my website and noticed that indeed when I enabled the plugin, the website’s dynamic content is no longer cached. After a further investigation, I noticed that the WCBoost Wishlist plugin adds a set-cookie header, such as the one below:
    set-cookie: wcboost_wishlist_hash=2f839425b24480457461faeb8cd76b58%3A%3Aee11c9c47e9fa343f13bede21b6e7553; path=/

The set-cookie header indicates that the server is attempting to add a cookie to the user’s browser, which suggests that the content might be personalized or session-specific. Caching such responses could lead to serving personalized content to the wrong users, compromising functionality and security. Therefore, to ensure accurate and secure delivery of content, our caching systems bypass caching pages with “Set-Cookie” headers.

Regarding the other problem you reported – the one with the Wishlist, I managed to replicate this one as well and I observed that after enabling the Memcached level of caching, my Wishlist appears empty, even though it is not. I have already reported this issue directly to the Speed Optimizer plugin developers.

You can follow the plugin’s updates and changelog for any developments regarding this matter.

    Best Regards,

Thanks for helping investigate this! It’s weird because there is a setting in the WCBoost Wishlist plugin that disables guests being able to add wishlists, which I would’ve assumed would’ve fixed it, or not cause issues with caching plugins, but it doesn’t. I’ll add this link to the thread I created on their support forum to see how or if they can help.
