Conflict with Visual Form Builder Pro

    Visual Form Builder Pro comes back with an error message:
    Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/sites/e/ebps.org.uk/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 28
    When I try to download “Forms”.
    When I disable The Events Calendar, the download works, when I activate the Events Calendar, I get the above error message
    I asked Visual Form Builder and this is their reply:
    Hi Andrew,
    Thank you for using Visual Form Builder Pro! you will notice that the actual error is not coming from VFBPro but from something else in your install preventing the export from happening. As good place to start is: Please follow the steps for resolving theme/plugin conflicts.

    Howdy Shane,

    I am sorry to hear that. They are correct that their plugin is not mentioned. However, our’s isn’t either. You will need a “stack trace” to determine the root cause, and even then it is possible more debugging will be needed. At this point there is a 50/50 shot that something in our plugin might need to be namespaced or something to prevent a conflict, and something in theirs.

    You have two options:
    1) Get a stacktrace and pursue the issue on your own further. Share it perhaps here and on the other forums, asking other users if they’ve face it and how they fixed it.
    2) Determine exactly what steps a person needs to do to reproduce this problem on any server. Then, contact either their development team or ours. Once the problem can be reproduced then developers with debugging tools can take a look. I know we are completely willing to work directly with other development teams to eliminate conflicts, and most WP developers are the same assuming the problem affects some of their users. This whole option happens at a bit of a slower pace though, because it often requires that one or more of the affected plugins release a new version.

    The evidence seems to point to your plugin
    What I would like you to do is install Visual Form Builder Pro and try to “export Forms”
    Perhaps you could contact them and they might agree to do something in concert with you?

    Howdy again Andrew,

    Sorry for the confusion regarding your name.

    We will definitely need a stack trace to tell that. All we know now is that there is a generic WordPress error that mentions neither plugin and really has no useful info whatsoever. Seeing as how we do not even have a license to Form Builder Pro I can not reproduce this issue at all.

    Unfortunately everything I mentioned before is still 100% relevant. You have two options to proceed. You will have to pick one and follow the instructions I outlined. I wish there was more i could do, but from here there is absolutely nothing until you proceed with one of the options.
