• First of all, let me say I’m a HUGE fan of Quick Cache / Zen Cache / Comet Cache, and have been for some time. Fabulous work on this plugin. Thanks!

Now for the weirdness. I’ve had Comet Cache active on a site where the home page has a few areas with visual composer content. From time to time, these areas will simply disappear. When I clear Comet Cache, they reappear.

After some thought, I realized that the 2 areas were the only ones on the home page had CSS animations on them to fade in via visual composer.

Is there some reason the animations wouldn’t play well with the cache and cause the entire area not to display?

    Weird. I know.

  • I just tested it on a new site and there is definitely a conflict with WP 4.5 and Visual Composer. It removed the editing/content section on a page. Let’s hope an update comes out soon for VC.

Thanks for the additional info, Chris.

The site in question, though, has not been updated to WP 4.5. We first noticed this issue a couple of weeks ago.

@nathaningram @cpasserella Thanks for the report. Since Visual Composer is a premium plugin, I’m not able to test this right now, but I sent WPBakery a tweet asking to get in touch (I couldn’t figure out how else to contact them). If I can get my hands on a copy of Visual Composer, I’ll test it with Comet Cache to see if I’m able to reproduce the issue.
