Conflict with Twenty Sixteen

    Hi,

    When editing an element using Elementor I am finding that I only have around 15 seconds before it resets from the editor window to the root menu of Elementor.

    I have installed Health Check and can confirm it is no plugins and this problem only occurs when the theme is activated.

    Wordpress and Elementor are up to date. It is not a child theme of Twenty Sixteen.

    Can you please help.

    This shouldn’t happen.
    Try to deactivate all plugins except Elementor and switch to theme TwentySixteen, also update Elementor. See if it works.

    Hi Ben,

    As I said in the initial message, I have deactivated all the plugins, Elementor is up to date and the theme already is Twenty Sixteen.

    Do you have any further suggestions.

    Have you tried 2017 theme? Is there a reason for using an older outdated theme.

    Also check out the requirements section Elementor, you php.ini file might needs some tweaks as well ??

    The Twenty Sixteen theme was easier to customise to the design – it says here that this should work reliably with the theme chosen https://docs.elementor.com/article/78-themes

    Ben, could you let me know of any changes to be made to any files.
