    Cheers code ninjas,
I have Slimstat installed a long time, couple of years. I tested W3 Total cache with Memcached on another site, it is working very nice. I used the same configuration on this site, but in cache mode (not logged users) site stopped work and I found this debug message: [03-May-2019 22:00:00 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘const’ (T_CONST), expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /mnt/data/accounts/n/norbou/data/www/norbou.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-slimstat/browscap-db-master/doctrine/cache/lib/Doctrine/Common/Cache/FilesystemCache.php on line 19
I tried to deactivate and activate Slimstats, I set client mode in settings. Now my site is working, but Slimstats is not working at all – I lost all statistical data and it doesn’t count any new visits. Any ideas? Same server environment as on my second site. I am using latest version of Slimstat with WP 4.99999 ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Interesting. I was digging in backups of my DB and I see, that my stats stopped work before I installed Total cache. I had some issue with hosting caused by cron and updraft backup. So I don’t think now that there is any link with W3 Total Cache. I reloaded stats data from last backup into database, but stats are still not working. I really don’t know what to to try next.

I did a downgrade. Using client mode. Browscap is not installed. There was an error downloading the Browscap data file from our server. Please try again later. First visit recorded. I see tracker error message: [05-05-19 12:37 am] 101 Invalid data signature. Try clearing your WordPress cache.

RESOLVED: I am still using downgraded version 4.7.8.3, Browscap is not installed and is retuning error on a try to install them, but stats are working well in client mode now. I purged caches and disabled static browser cache of JS files which was set in .htaccess.

    Hi @norbou,

thank you for all the information. We’re going to release version 4.8 soon, which should address the issue with Browscap. Stay tuned.
