    Just make a local test with UwAmp, you are a develloper you should know.

    Ultimate Member plugin uses an older version of select2 library and it doesnt support ajax. That’s the reason for this issue. We can’t resolve this from our end without loosing features.

    Ultimate member plugin can easily upgrade their select2 version without loosing features. So please contact Ultimate member support and check if its in their plans
