Conflict with The Events Calendar plugin

Seems to be a conflict with The Events Calendar plugin that I hope you can help with.
When the shortcodes plugin is active the events calendar won’t load next or previous months when in Month view (List view works). It sticks with a loading icon.
I cloned the site here to troubleshoot it.
